Chaeldar requires 70 or even 80 combat (i do not remember) as well as access to Zanaris. Black Mask can be quickly obtained by GE at a cost of a few hundred thousand. It’s necessary to make a Full Slayer Helm in the first place, so don’t see it as not worth it. Purchase the ones that are not charged. I never pray during slayer because I’m not a good slayer but perhaps others might know more.

Because of f2p, you can’t use the range of elvarg or the dragon. F2P’s only single handed rng wep the weakest crossbow that you can find. I’d suggest forty or so atk, 40 or more str, and 33 def and more before taking it to the ground..

Doing this could get you injured because you cannot use an anti-drag sheild (unless you use bronze bolts with a reg crossbow) I wouldn’t recommend. Maging it can be a disaster considering that i’ve read that it has a high magic and def.

At the said melee lvls, u wud need a rune scimmy (40atk required) and full Adamant Armour (30 def needed) or an amulet containing str and a str potion would help.. Also, you’ll require the anti drag sheild since without it, elvarg could be able to hit up to 500 dmg.

Also, make sure you have a complete inventory of lobsters/swordfish. Swordfish is superior, but i killed Elvarg in about 40-50 combat, using just 3-5 lobbies. This set-up is to get you ready for the final boss battle against the dragon named elvarg. A final thing, having 33 magic can be a huge help in saving 10k Gp for telegrabing a map piece instead of buying that piece from the goblin.
