Citing a “growing team and better methods Buy OSRS Gold“, Jagex says it will no longer be focused on sellers of gold and resources via RWT but as well buyers. The idea is to curb the demand and supply.

Jagex claims it will start sending “messages to players who we’ve identified as being involved in”RWT” within “the coming hours”. “For those who have been involved, we’d like to be clear : this is your one or only warning” said the statement.

Other measures that developers will be looking at as punishments for RWT activity are set to include wealth removal – basically eliminating gains that were earned illegally from players’ accounts at a server level – and possible bans.

RuneScape’s PvP element, also known as”the Duel Arena, will also be subject to stricter rules. Jagex affirms that the mode “has been a flashpoint in this behavior that is harmful” and that 38 per cent of the bans issued for RWT activities up to now originate from this aspect in the game. It states that it is already equivalent around “thousands of bans every month”.

As a result, the developer appears to be considering the nuclear option, and says “we’re contemplating in the near future to remove down the Duel Arena out of RuneScape completely.” In the meantime it will be implementing “some immediate measures” to get rid of PvP “until our development teams are able to deliver an extensive update that completely eliminates Duel Arena next year.”

This will come with a cap on the amount of GP or gold point that players can bet on games in the Duel Arena. Participants will be able place bets “no greater than fifty million GP for each duel”. Further measures have not been detailed as yet.

Jagex declares that “a new and exciting experience that’s going to form part of the Elder God Wars storyline” will replace Duel Arena by the time 2022 begins cheap rs3 gold. But no other details have been released yet.
