Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has seen his Madden ranking drop for the second consecutive week.

The video game franchise revealed its most recent player news following the Week 9 results, and Mahomes has dropped another percent in his overall score to an 97. Mahomes started the year a part of Madden 99. Madden 99 club, but dropped out of the club after Week 8.

Mahomes who is the Madden cover and Tom Brady for this year’s game, may be struggling with the horrendous “Madden curse” since he’s not achieved the standard we’re used to seeing from Mahomes.

The 2018 NFL MVP has thrown 10 interceptions in nine games this season, the second most on the field. He was able to throw 11 picks over the two previous seasons.
