While there were some improvements but it didn’t feel as if the game was brand new. By 2022, Electronic Arts would be best served to focus its attention initially and foremost on the new consoles. The most common complaint about the Madden NFL series the last couple of years has been the perception that the franchise mode is nothing more than a simple update to the roster for $60. It was once among the top sports game. In the case of running an NFL franchise, there was much that players didn’t have any control over.
