World of Warcraft WoTLK Classic Gold developer Blizzard claims it cancels around 50 percent of the games it creates. One of the most well-known cancellations was Titan, the MMO called Titan. The game’s elements were later incorporated into the game that became World of Warcraft , but now we have some fresh information about the reason Titan was not released.

Blizzard the company’s founder Mike Morhaime, who recently quit the company, talked about the game at his speech at the Gamelab conference held in Barcelona the week before. Morhaime said the project was originally planned to be an “next-generation MMO,” but it was deemed to be too ambitious.

“We did not manage the scope of the project,” Morhaime said, according to Eurogamer. “It was extremely ambitious. It was a completely new world and was going to be the next-generation MMO that could do all kinds of things. It offered different ways of playing. We were building two games at the same time, and it was a struggle to connect.”

The game from Blizzard Entertainment World of Warcraft was born from the remains of Titan Morhaime also spoke more about why buy WoTLK Classic Gold granting greenlight to the game was “one of the most beneficial decisions we took.”
