World of Warcraft mount and pet sales to support Make-A-Wish

World of Warcraft players can purchase a new mount as well as a pet to aid The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Blizzard tainment has made an announcement buy WoTLK Gold.

Players can buy the Alterac Brew Pup pet ($10) this morning and the purchase will go to Make-Awish, an American-based charity that allows children to make wishes for those with life-threatening medical conditions.

Players can also purchase Blizzard’s first-ever charity bundle, including the Pup and the all-new Enchanted Fey Dragon flying mount for $30 with the proceeds going to charity. Also, the Enchanted Fey Dragon mount is also available to buy on its own for $25. however, no portion of the earnings will be donated to Make-A-Wish.

The exclusive World of Warcraft Make-A-Wish charity drive lasts until midnight on December 31. at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

This isn’t the only time Blizzard has held a donation drive to support Make-A-Wish. In the year 2010. Blizzard donated $1.1 million in donations to Make-A-Wish. They followed this by giving an additional $800.000 in 2011. by selling an in-game pet.

Blizzard also revealed a donation program to help those affected by the recent typhoon, which destroyed areas of Philippines. The game’s creator is matching employee donations for relief efforts in the aftermath of a typhoon that are made by the American Red Cross.
