EA has made a promise to improve the franchise mode within a few months of the launch of Madden 21. The hashtag FixMaddenFranchise that I created in the year 2020 and was circulated to a number of influencers in the community of the game appeared to have a hand in shifting the direction of EA’s attention. The hashtag ranked No. 1 on Twitter which prompted an response from Madden franchise’s director Sean Graddy.

EA has provided constant upgrades to the mode since 2020, though it still hasn’t got the depth and depth similar to other variations of the concept , which is common to other sports games. Although currently, the mode for franchises isn’t as great as many could hope for the mode has seen improvements.

EA Sports has confirmed that it will continue to improve and support Madden NFL’s franchise mode , following reports that claimed that the game’s developer would not announce any updates to it. In a statement to IGN, a spokesperson for EA Sports said more updates are coming as part of Madden NFL 22’s live services approach.

“We do not want to speak about rumors or speculation, but we’re determined to continue to enhance Franchise as aspect of the Madden NFL 22 live service and further,” the spokesperson said. “This is the case with two of the upcoming Franchise updates we’ll be releasing in Madden NFL 22. We’ll be providing more details on these updates in the new year.”

Sports Gamers Online reported recently that EA Sports opted to cancel future updates to Madden NFL 22’s Franchise mode. Madden’s Franchise mode was a particular pain point for the series over time, with fans looking for more substantial updates to the mode and not always receiving what they want.
