Blizzard Tainment has taken a stance on the feedback received regarding World of Warcraft ‘s controversial scaling of enemies. It was recently discovered that the values of enemy health in the MMO can change based on what level of weapons you have installed. This major change, which Blizzard reportedly said it was against earlier in the year (via Eurogamer), is now being changed in response to feedback from players regarding it.
In a post on the forum earlier today Blizzard has announced it’s now “significantly cutting down on the speed at which creature health scales with your item level.” This change is already in World of Warcraft .
“All we’re trying to achieve in this case is prevent instances where monsters die too quickly that players are unable to react at their appearance, specifically when they appear in World Quests,” Blizzard explained. “Our initial tune was much more aggressive than it was required to be, which could cause you to buy WoTLK Gold believe that your improvements weren’t really aiding. This modification will make it quite clear that you’re still becoming noticeably stronger than the opposition as your gear increases.”
