The Yoga Organization was established in the year 1918 in Mumbai by Pujya Shri Yogendra Ji. Yogendra Ji understood the significance of Yoga and its many advantages. He began The Yoga Establishment in Versova, Mumbai on December 25, 1918, fully intent on bringing the customary information on Yoga into the existences of common people. He endeavored to break all friendly hindrances that kept Yoga out of the span of these straightforward people who worked and worked to accommodate their families. The Organization moved to its ongoing Santacruz area in 1948.
