Diablo Immortal was D2R Items first announced in the year 2018, as a mobile game only, but Blizzard not until recently having the option that it would be bringing the game to PC. Diablo 4 is taking on an edgier, more grounded style of storytelling, and the tone is said to have been set from what we’ve observed. It’s the direct sequel to take place many decades after The Diablo expansion Reaper of Souls, but Blizzard has confirmed that it will be paying more attention to the everyday people and their struggles within the devastation of Sanctuary in contrast to the supernatural grandeur of demonic gods.

Therefore, if you wanted to upgrade your skills, you just changed what you had equipped. However, that’s not the case in D4. Naturally, gear is crucial to your build, however, it’s actually your skill in deciding what you want to do, and then you take these choices into the game.

The story is not linear, so you can choose how you want to tell the story. It’s a shared universe, and you’re able to go exploring instead of doing the story if you want to. You can travel wherever you like within Sanctuary and play things like dungeons.
