Some tickets cannot be refunded. Before you book your ticket, make sure to review the policies for refunds. American Airlines will refund your full payment if you bought your ticket directly from them. Scroll down and click on the “Help” column. Click on “Receipts & Refunds”. You will see the word “Refund requests”. Click it. Scroll down to “Request a Refund”, and enter your name as well as the ticket number. Follow the link to Reservations to cancel your reservation. You must mail your paper tickets to American Airlines Phoenix, Arizona. The address will be listed on the refund page.
