The DRO is known as Digital Readout. It may provide a numerical display to mark the position of the elements. For example, the digital readout for the milling machine shows the 3 axes, the X, Y, and Z-axis. The X and Y-axis indicate the position of the Mill table, and the Z-axis indicates the cutting tool.
