“When this feedback didn’t appear it was assumed that it was a normal change–i.e. people who hadn’t noticed it weren’t bothered by it, and those who did notice it thought it was fine WoTLK Gold.” Blizzard said. “Clearly it was an incorrect assumption and we ought to have called attention to the issue later in the PTR cycle, so that we could detect these issues prior to Patch 7.2 went live.”

World of Warcraft lost 800.000 gamers during the quarter of April-June Publisher Activision Blizzard announced today as part of its most recent earnings report. On June 30. World of Warcraft had 6.8 million subscribers. This was down from 7.6 million gamers on March 31.

Activision states that the decrease in subscribers came mostly at the East. The company described the drop as “seasonal” and said that the drop in subscribers was comparable to the one we experienced in the second quarter of 2012 prior to the release of the World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria.

Next World of Warcraft expansion is Warlords of Draenor, which launches this fall for PC. The date of the expansion’s release will be announced during a special event next week at Los Angeles. Although the expansion isn’t officially out yet, it’s already been sold 1.5 million units in pre-purchases, Activision Blizzard said today.

Although World of Warcraft ‘s subscriber number is declining buy WoTLK Classic Gold, the profits from the game are up, Blizzard tainment CEO Mike Morhaime declared. Morhaime didn’t give the exact number of revenue figures, and Actvision Blizzard does not share the figures publicly.
