As with previous entries as with previous games, 2K23 sought out new additions that would enhance player experiences for players, including the introduction of new events to MyTeam NBA 2K23 MT, adding a new Seasonal Quest feature to MyCareer, and introducing new activities that allow players to increase their reach in The City.

Not all the new features hit their mark and, even with the additions to the MyCareer Hubs, the hubs still seem a bit bloated and uninteresting at times. But, there’s still plenty of variety to this trip of 2K features to keep you entertained for hours at a time.

The 2K series has slowly added additional non-basketball features like the Gatorade fitness center, riding through the streets on skateboards or having a cup of morning coffee at The City. It doesn’t matter how many other elements get added, though the focus always returns at the courts first and foremost. NBA 2K23 brings some very impressive improvements on that front in many different ways.Four players in total are announced as part of Glitched. Four players are announced for Glitched series, each coming with a statistical advantage over the course of 99 games in Dark Matter form. Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons is often criticized for his inability hit 3 point shots. However, that is now a thing of the past because Glitched Ben Simmons can hang with players like Stephen Curry.

The same could be said for legend Yao Ming, whose biggest flaw was his 3 point game. Yao Ming is now able to make players uncomfortable by his intimidating side or lean back and take the ball with a three. If you’re looking to build the most impressive center building in NBA 2K23, it may already exist thanks to Ming’s brand new Dark Matter unit.

Minnesota Timberwolves D’Angelo Russell may have the attributes of an athlete who scores an average of 18-20 points per game, but his Glitched unit now covers the weaknesses of his defense 2K23 MT. The 26-year-old is currently in his seventh season in the NBA, and imagining that he could shoot like he does and then come back on defense and manage a game, he’d be one of the better point guards on the market in NBA 2K23.
