The Vikings (3-2) have won three consecutive sectional championships, and Madden 22 coins a 2020 regional championship since the head coach Terry Bales took over the program in the 2017-18 season. Before Bales Blue River’s last sectional title came in 1984-85.

Bales entered this season with a record of 72-30 as of last season, and his 22-4 (9-0 in the Mid Eastern Conference) mark as his best to date. The Vikings lost two key contributors with the departure of Mallory Cross and Abby Thornburgh of that team, however, so Bales team was charged this season with replacing their 14.5 points, 6.8 rebounding and 5.4 assists per game.

But Blue River still has senior center Ally Madden, one of the area’s best interior players Sharpshooting junior Maci Chamberlin as well as solid base around them that will make another tournament run.

While four consecutive titles in the sectional championship would set a school record, the Vikings still have a long way to go towards becoming a clear postseason team.

“I don’t know because we’re not yet ready to expand. I’m hoping we’ll become an organization that is capable of doing that. I don’t believe that we’re quite there yet,” Bales said of the team’s chances of winning being able to win a sectional championship. “We’ve to work on learning be better at defending … make sure not to commit the mistakes that don’t have to be forced. This means we have some work to do. And certainly (a the sectional titles) is where we hope to get.”

Although four consecutive sectional titles would break the school’s record, the Vikings still have much to do towards becoming a clear postseason team.

“I do not know, because we’re not yet ready to expand. I’m hoping we’ll be an organization that is capable of accomplishing that. I don’t think that we’re there yet,” Bales said of the team’s chance to win an area championship. “We’ve learned how be better at defending … Try not to commit the mistakes that don’t have to be forced. We’ve got some retraining to do. And certainly (a the sectional titles) is where we hope to be.”

The Vikings will, in the end, take them as far as Madden allows them to go. Madden entered the season an 1,000-point scorer, who averaged approximately a 16-point double over the last two seasons and will probably soon be over 1,000 career rebound.

Madden has been the key factor in Blue River’s rise to the postseason as the team’s Tuesday night’s victory of 77-63 against Wapahani (4-2) demonstrated her importance. Madden scored 27 points, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter that was the key to stopping the Raiders attempt to rally, and dominated the paint all game from both ends.

Madden is required to do more in the coming season. Her role as an interior player has been extended as she’s permitted to, at times, play out on the perimeter too and shoot more and make plays.

Blue River’s guards don’t have as much experience as they were during previous seasons which is why in games in which teams play a press defense like buy Madden nfl 22 coins Wapahani did and the 6-foot-1 Madden assists in moving the ball back up when the point guard becomes caught.
